It seems like no one is very interested in our faction any more and since there seems to be very little recruiting, River has said that we are all welcome to join her faction. You do not have to go to her faction if you don't want to. This is what I have come up with since only a small few of us are even trying to recruit new members. To those who are high level, if we do not recruit we will never have others who can help for your daily quests ,tt runs, trials, or fcc runs. If you wish to keep Emperials alive and going then please recruit active members (no alts).

If anyone has any ideas that can save this faction then please share.

This has been a problem for a long time now,and we've tried so many times to fix it. Sometimes it would work, but only temporary, then things would be back to how they are now. At this point,I'm not sure there is anything we can do. I recruited quite a few members when I had leadership, how many are left now out of those? 1? People do not stay...there just aren't enough high levels in faction that can help the new people with things. Such a waste though...all the effort put into the faction base and such. I wish we could give it to Kickin It.

I disagree rose.. there are plenty of high levels in the faction but they dont seem to interested in supporting the faction. It appears to me that they are concentrating on leveling their own toon that they have forgotten why this faction was formed by me, Hope and a toon named Lady. Its main goal was to be a friendly and HELPFUL faction. At the moment it is far from that, especially on the helpful part. Those members that DO log on are silent most of the time, seldom joining into what little faction chat we do have. But worse, we are plagued with dead toons.. most real nice people when they play.. but still they are dead toons. Of what value is a dead toon, no matter how nice ther person behind it? I am in favor of just cleaning house, to the bare bones if necessary. And to those that do log on and are not helpful i suggest kicking all their alts first as a warning. If that makes them feel they need to leave, i wish them well... elsewhere... they are no help to the faction anyway. I will miss those that leave or are kicked but, speaking as the curent director, i want the faction to suceed and those not willing to help and get involved are a drag on the faction. Member count isnt everything, especially if made up of dead toons. So, any that read this be warned, I intend to push Fae, the leader, into the steps outlined above. If u have a differing opinion as to how we should proceed... speak up. Rose previously and Fae currently have asked for ideas and I cant remember a single one coming forward. Nuff said from me.

I wish you all the best. Do what you feel is best for you. If anything ever changes you will always be welcome to come over to Kickin. I'll always be here for you, there is a strong bond of friendship that stretches between us no matter what faction you are in.
Zap, you are absolutely right, dead toons are dead toons. Mine is one of them. I just can't be in two places at once and Chalion should be kicked from the faction..... or at least from his officer position. Keeping a faction active is a heavy burden, it often falls to a few very active officers. Remember, keep that faction chat scrolling, direct attention of the faction where it needs to be and don't be afraid to ask others to help!
Zap, Rose, Fae, Trax, you know how to find me. If you need to, you are welcome to log in your alts in Kickin and ask if anyone is free to help you!
Love you guys!

As former director and marshal, and being the leaders hubby, i had countless conversations with hope (when she was still the leader). Things were already not going well back then. We tried loads and loads of ideas and strategies, without (long lasting) success. I got the feeling everything has been tried already, and failed...

I seriously cant think of anything new to try..

Honest opinion? Ditch the rules and move into a more player friendly mode. Make sure you are using faction chat and not whispering. Any convo that isn't personal should be conducted in faction chat at all times. Players want a place to share, not only to get help, but just some place thats upbeat and fun. They don't want to be told how to spend their game time. They will come together of their own free will when given the opportunity to do so.
......... what is freely given is always much more precious than what is forced and given grudgingly.

I feel so guilty for leaving you guys with this mess, but now I think you can better understand how stressed I was. Riv, I think that's a great idea, the only problem with that is that it seems that people that join a faction that has a base EXPECTS them to do TW and things like that, and if they don't, then the new members leave. I understand Zap's thinking as well, but it doesn't seem like a long term fix. Like Trax said, practically everything has been tried..and failed. I still love all of you and I love Emperials and don't want to see it fail, but it helps me to know that Kickin will be there for you if it does. Riv, you have always been there for us, and I for one want to thank you for EVERYTHING that you've ever done or will do in the future. I love you all very much ♥

awwww *blushes* ty All completely comes of friendship and caring for those in Emps.

If you stress the faction base in your recruiting, yes they will expect it. But I will say it again, anything forced is just not worth fighting with them over. Kickin came to me when they were ready to have the base. It went up quickly, they are happily doing bq's IF they want to, so far, a good number of them are. When they are ready for Trials, they will do them, they don't seem to be in a hurry for that yet, they are just in the moment of "we have a base!" lol

Start slowly, let the faction members lead more and don't stress over every little thing, if it's meant to be, it will happen. If they want trials, tell them to help recruit the appropriate lvls for it. The faction can't be successful unless the faction itself wants to be successful.
*hugs n kisses*
